Mountain Hardwear

Explorations inspired by early discussions with Mountain Hardwear. At the time we let the wheels spin on Mountain Hardwear’s brand as a creative exercise and introduction without a brand assessment. We found our core business personas aligned on the rewards of exploring the outdoors and caring for the environment.

Leveraging the legacy of Mountain Hardwear's brand we explored a simplification of the brand elements by utilizing a logotype and hexagonal iconography to arrive at an evolution in the brand expression.
Brand Migration
An exercise in re-interpretation or extension of Mountain Hardwear's brand elements opened the door to a brand expression without borders. An initial iconic study was built on an MHW acronym combined to represent twin mountain peaks joined at the center.
Brand Extension
An "in the moment expedition documentation" campaign was created in support of those on their path.
